About NOMI
NOMI provides freight forwarding and customs clearance services in the UAE and the GCC. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled through www.nomiglobal.net.

Information we collect
- Quote requests: when you request a quote, we collect your name, mobile number and/or email address, origin, destination and goods description. You may also provide your company name, weight and volume. We record the request's IP address and time.
- Shipment tracking: when you enter a shipment number, the website displays the recorded status, estimated arrival, origin and destination cities, and last update. We keep the lookup IP address and time for up to 24 hours to help prevent automated misuse.
- Direct enquiries: if you contact us by email or telephone, we use the information you provide to respond.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in goods descriptions or messages.
How we use information
- To respond to quote requests you submit with your consent.
- To display shipment tracking information.
- To protect the website from spam, excessive requests and misuse.
- To handle enquiries and, where applicable, meet legal obligations relating to shipments.
We do not use website information for advertising or automated decisions about individuals, and we do not sell personal information. You may withdraw consent for future consent-based processing by contacting us, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Cookies and external services
NOMI does not use website cookies, local storage or analytics.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers when loading those fonts, which may disclose technical information such as your IP address to Google. Google's own privacy policy applies to its processing.
Hosting and sharing
The website uses Cloudflare for hosting and delivery and Supabase for its database, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law. If you proceed with a shipment, additional information may need to be shared with the parties involved in providing that service, as explained in the relevant booking or service arrangements.
International processing
Website information may be processed outside the UAE, including in Germany. Third-party services may also involve processing in other locations. International processing is subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
Retention
Shipment-tracking rate-limiting records containing IP addresses and lookup times are kept for up to 24 hours.
Quote requests and correspondence are kept for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry and any applicable legal obligations. Information associated with a booked shipment may need to be retained under applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Security
We take measures to protect information against unauthorised access and misuse. No internet-based service can guarantee complete security.
Public tracking displays shipment status, estimated arrival, origin and destination cities, and last update. It does not display customer identities, goods descriptions or prices.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of certain processing, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. Other rights may apply under UAE data-protection law.
